In the Settings Tab, you can prevent the import of empty translation keys from Intercom to Localazy. This ensures that only relevant translations are imported.

Due to limitations of the Intercom API, languages must be present in at least one article to be successfully detected by Localazy. Make sure you’ve prepared your Intercom account with relevant content.

  1. Install the Intercom Integration:
  • Navigate to your project and click on the “Integrations” tab.
  • Look for the Intercom integration and click “Install.”
  • Follow the prompts to authorize Localazy to access your Intercom account.
  1. Connect Your Intercom Account:
  • Once the integration is installed, go to the “Settings” tab.
  • Under “Intercom Settings,” click “Connect Account.”
  • You’ll be redirected to Intercom. Log in if prompted.
  • Grant the necessary permissions to Localazy.
  • After successful authentication, your Intercom account will be connected.
  1. Detect Intercom Languages:
  • Return to the “Overview” tab.
  • Click the “Detect Intercom Languages” button.
  • Localazy will scan your Intercom content and detect available languages.
  • If any languages are missing, ensure you have content in those languages within your Intercom account.
  1. Import and Export Translations:
  • With detected languages, Localazy will import translatable texts from Intercom.
  • Translate these texts within Localazy.
  • Once translated, export the translations back to Intercom.
