A net-positive business can be defined as a business where profit is important, but that’s not all for the founder. It’s a business where a stakeholder is more than a shareholder and we do believe this is a way how we want to run our business. Because if there is no community & planet around us, what is the point of doing business? Right now, money is blood of positive change and businesses shall use the power for making the change needed.
Ray Anderson from Interface used to ask pointedly, “What’s the case for doing business on a dead planet?”
The great Peter Drucker reportedly once said, “Profit for a company is like oxygen for a person. If you don’t have enough of it, you are out of the game. But if you think your life is about breathing you’re really missing something.”
