Export finished translations back to Zendesk as drafts for review or publish them directly. Your support team focuses on helping customers instead of managing translation workflows.

The integration handles the heavy lifting between Zendesk and Localazy. When you update an article, just re-import the changes, translate them, and export again in minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

No developer needed. If you can create a Zendesk API key, you can set up this integration.

You’ll need your Zendesk URL (like https://yourcompany.zendesk.com), an email address with Help Center permissions, and an API key. The whole setup takes about 2 minutes.

You can import existing translations from Zendesk into Localazy or start fresh with new translations. The integration gives you full control.

Use the “Import Existing Entries” option to bring over any translations you already have, or leave it unchecked to work only with new translations from Localazy.

Yes. You have multiple review options depending on your team’s workflow:

Review in Zendesk (recommended for support teams): Export translations as drafts to your Zendesk Help Center. Your support team can review them in their familiar Zendesk environment, make edits if needed, then publish when ready. This keeps your existing approval process intact.

Review in Localazy (recommended for translation managers): Use Localazy’s built-in review workflows where translations go through an approval process before they’re marked as published. You can invite reviewers, add comments, and track approval status. Only approved translations get exported to Zendesk.

Mixed approach: Many teams use both - Localazy review for translation quality and consistency, then Zendesk draft review for context and support team approval.

This flexibility lets you maintain translation quality while working with your existing support team workflows rather than forcing everyone to learn new tools.
