Where to find them #️⃣
In the Localazy dashboard, navigate to:
Your organization → Services → Overview
Below the list of translation options, you will find the Professional localization services section.
You’ll see three cards:
- Initial localization consulting
- Context assets creation
- Localization testing
Select any card to open its request form.
You need organization access to see this page. If the Services item isn’t in your menu, ask your organization owner to grant you access.
Services #️⃣
Every service is tailored to your individual needs and requirements. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and the descriptions below are just examples of what to roughly expect. If you need anything that you think fits the scope of the service, even if it’s not explicitly listed, feel free to send the form and describe it in the message.
Before any paid work starts, you will get a ~30-45 minute free consultation with our localization manager, where you’ll align on the expectations and finalize the scope and target languages together.
After you agree to the quote, you can expect the following process described below for each service.
Initial localization consulting #️⃣
Use it before you commit budget to a new market, or when existing localization in a specific region isn’t producing the results you expected.
What to expect:
- Get a research report and a working session (or multiple sessions) with a Localazy localization manager and, where relevant, regional specialists for selected markets.
- Any additional outputs specific to the sub-services below.
1. QA audit of your existing translations and assets
Pick this one if you already have some translations and you are wondering if they are correct, or if you are unsure wether your glossary or style guide is accurate. Our experts will identify errors and inconsistencies in the provided materials and propose fixes you can implement.
2. Market analysis and market research
Preparing to enter a new market with your product and services? Get a tailored analysis and personalized research to identify local competition, cultural differences you should consider in your messaging, and more.
3. International expansion recommendations
If you are just starting out and you are unsure which market to enter, or if you are already present in multiple markets but you are unsure where to go next, this is for you. You will get a list of recommended countries and an overview of each market.
4. Legal consulting (for supported countries)
Regulatory requirements can be a real hurdle when expanding internationally. Get help from our experts to ensure your market entry will go smoothly from the legal perspective. This service is available for selected countries — please specify which region you need legal advice for in the request form.
5. Terms & Conditions adjustments and translation
Have our experts adjust and translate your Terms & Conditions for the target market/s you’re expanding to.
Context assets creation #️⃣
Professional linguists will prepare a style guide that captures your tone of voice and formatting rules, and build a glossary of your key terms so they’re translated the same way everywhere. Both AI and human translators will then work from the same context, which is what keeps results consistent and on-brand.
You can get this delivered in standard files you can share with your colleagues, and/or have the glossary and style guide built inside your Localazy project(s).
The service can be provided whether you’re starting from scratch or already have a glossary and style guide you need to improve.
What to expect:
- A style guide covering tone of voice, formality, formatting conventions, and language-specific instructions.
- A glossary of your key terminology, with approved translations per target language and do not translate terms.
Localization testing #️⃣
Native-speaking linguists will use your product the way your users would (in the target language) and report what’s wrong. They can catch the problems that are invisible in a translation editor, like hardcoded strings your developers forgot to send for translation, wrong date formats, and also translations that may be correct, but don’t elevate the user experience or align culturally.
What to expect:
- You provide either a rough idea or a ready-made test scenario.
- Our localization manager prepares a testing plan.
- Localazy linguists follow the testing plan.
- You receive a final report with findings and recommendations for improvements.
No test scenario? That’s fine. Our localization manager will prepare the testing plan with you based on your specific needs.
Sending your request #️⃣
Select the service and fill in the form. The form includes three sections you can fill in.
Step 1: Select projects and target languages
Select one or more Localazy projects, or choose “It’s not part of a Localazy project yet” if the work hasn’t been set up inside Localazy yet. Then pick the markets or languages you’re targeting.
Step 2: Answer service-specific questions
You will be asked to answer a few questions specific to the package you chose: the consulting topics you want to cover, the assets you already have that our linguists can use for context preparation, or whether a scenario exists for your localization testing task. Please be provide specific details so we can prepare.
Step 3: Tell us more
A link to your product or website, and a description of what you’re trying to achieve. This is the part we read first, so make sure to describe it as well as possible few sentences.
The delivery process #️⃣
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Within 3 business days | A localization manager replies and proposes a time for a free introductory call. |
| The introductory call (~30–45 min) | We go through your goals, your content and your constraints, and agree on what’s in and out of scope. |
| Within 5 business days of the call | You receive a written proposal: scope, deliverables, timeline and a fixed quote. |
| After payment | We confirm the agreement and schedule the work. NDAs are signed at this point if you need one. |
| Delivery | Consulting and testing conclude with a written report. Context assets are delivered as files or applied to your project, as you chose. |
| After delivery | One round of follow-up questions or revisions is included, so you can act on what you received and walk away satisfied. |
Everything is quoted per engagement based on the scope you agree on the call.
Services can be invoiced separately or you can use your Localazy credits to pay for them.
Good to know #️⃣
Can I request more than one service?
Yes. Send a separate request for each as it keeps the scoping conversations clean. Mention the others in your description and we’ll coordinate.
Which languages are available?
This depends on the chosen services, current demand and if the selected experts are available. We don’t have a list of supported languages for each because the situation might be different at any point in time. We will do our best to cover 100% of your requirements whenever possible.
Can I talk to someone before filling in the form?
The form is the fastest route, because it puts the right context in front of the right person. If you’d rather start with a conversation, contact support and ask to be put in touch with the localization services team.
What if my product isn’t in Localazy yet?
That’s expected for consulting in particular. Choose “It’s not part of a Localazy project yet” in the first step and describe your setup in the brief. We will take that into account for the initial scoping.
How long will you take to provide the services?
Timelines vary depending on the chosen service/s. You’ll be able to set deadlines beforehand during the first call with our localization manager.
Will I get some kind of follow-up during the work?
Our services are designed to keep your mind out of the process. Once the scope is agreed and invoices are sent, you can focus on your product while our experts work in the background. If you have a preference for ongoing updates, let us know in the first consulting session and we’ll do our best to accomodate you.
