Maecos paved the way to operational excellence by scaling to 9 languages
Maecos is a Belgian platform that helps manufacturing companies in the food and consumer goods industries work smarter by bridging the gap between traditional execution systems and operators, without the need to replace existing setups.
The Challenge
The company needed to localize its platform for multinational clients. Supporting local languages was essential not only to comply with labor laws and industry standards, but also to ensure that factory operators could easily navigate and use the app. The tool initially used had become outdated and cumbersome, resulting in slow translations that distracted from core UX and functionality goals.
The Solution
A new, more efficient automated workflow was created using Localazy. With each update, new text was automatically pre-translated inside the platform. Key languages were reviewed in-house, with the rest handled through Localazy’s human translation services. The Localazy CLI synced updated translations before each release. This improved workflow saved Maecos' time so they could concentrate on building better tools.
The Result
Maecos rolled out its first localized version in just a week after switching from the competitor. It started with English, French, and Dutch and has since expanded to Czech, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and Turkish. The team can now add new languages without extra delays or work for developers, and both translation accuracy and speed have improved significantly. With Localazy, Maecos keeps the platform accessible for operators everywhere and confidently supports its global clients.
