Vasco Electronics builds translators for the world, and finally localizes like one

Vasco Electronics is a Polish consumer electronics company behind a pocket-sized voice translator that removes language barriers for travelers, professionals, and students. Present in 20+ countries, multilingual reach is core to everything they do.

The Challenge

Global ambitions, spreadsheet reality

Before Localazy, Vasco's translations lived in Excel files and moved through copy-paste. With over 20 store instances across international markets, developers were spending up to two hours per website on manual key management for every release and every market. The team needed a way to scale localization without scaling the workload.

"We were burning hours on manual translation work every release. Localazy automated all of it, so the team can just focus on the product."

The Solution

One source of truth for every language

Vasco rebuilt their workflow around translation keys, using Localazy CLI to automate file sync during every release. Translators now pick up assignments directly in Localazy through tagged key groups and share links, while the Figma plugin pushes translation keys from the design system into the platform before development even begins.

Machine translation serves as a starting point for new content, which is then reviewed and refined by Vasco's internal translation teams. With this setup, developer involvement in localization dropped to virtually zero.

Benefits

Scaling without the extra headcount
  • Developers out of the localization loop for good.
  • Consistent key structure across all 20+ markets.
  • Machine translation for faster, human-refined drafts.
  • New languages implemented based on business needs.

The Result

A localization engine built for the long run

Using Localazy, Vasco Electronics replaced hours of manual work per release with a fully automated workflow. Translation files are now centrally managed and automatically deployed across 25 languages spanning Europe, the Middle East, and North America, with more languages to follow as the business grows.
