Flowpay expanded faster across Europe with a centralized localization platform
Flowpay is a Czech data and AI company helping SMEs get fast, flexible financing through platforms they already use to run their business. Founded in 2021, they guide them to obtain the cash flow they need to run their day-to-day operations.
The Challenge
For three years, Flowpay's translations lived hardcoded directly in the codebase, with updates shared through spreadsheets that lacked a single source of truth. This made collaboration difficult once more people got involved. As they expanded into new European markets, this fragmented setup made it harder to keep translations accurate and consistent, right when a trustworthy product experience mattered most.
The Solution
When Flowpay rebuilt its myFlowpay frontend from scratch, the team adopted Localazy to centralize localization and give everyone a shared, unified interface. Using Localazy CLI, translations are pulled both locally and through their CI pipeline via GitHub Actions, letting non-developers with the right permissions publish updates directly.
After proving its value on the frontend, Flowpay extended Localazy to the backend, now managing legal documents and customer notifications like emails and texts, with Machine Translation powered by DeepL and Google Translate throughout.
The Result
Flowpay currently serves customers in English, Czech, Slovak, and Dutch through the myFlowpay application. Using Localazy, they saw their first results in just a few hours thanks to the quick integration process. As the company continues expanding across Europe, Hungarian and Croatian are next on the list, with the same centralized setup ready to support each new market without adding extra work for the team.
