Can I batch-add tags to my existing keys, or do I have to add them manually for each key?

You don’t have to add tags one key at a time. The Batch tags API lets you add or remove tags across up to 1,000 keys in a single request, so you can tag your existing keys in bulk any time, including right after an import.

You can also set up an automation that adds or removes tags automatically based on filters and triggers, such as tagging every key that comes from a specific imported file, with no manual or API step needed.

In the UI, tags still get added one key at a time, from the source language table. The translations list’s multi-select actions handle translation status instead, such as approving, sending back for review, pre-translating, flagging, or deleting, not tagging.
