📜 Terms & Conditions of affiliate program #️⃣

All Localazy Affiliates are required to complete agreement and remain in compliance with these terms. This list contains everything you need to know to be a Localazy affiliate, including resources, recommendations, and some fun legal stuff.

  • We store visitor cookies for 60 days
  • Registered visitors have 365 days to purchase their plan
  • We reserve the right to review purchases and utilize a 14-day period to process and release the commission
  • The commission is awarded only AFTER the invoice has been paid + 30 days (fraud & refund protection)
  • The commission is granted only for the first purchase of a Localazy plan

Commission #️⃣

  1. Commission Rates. Available commissions are set forth in the Affiliate Tool. Commissions may be based on either purchase or signup (not both), and purchase commissions may be calculated based on monthly or annual purchases at the rates set forth in the Affiliate Tool.

  2. Limitations:

a. For purchase commissions, you will receive commission for the first purchase made by a new customer who is not in an active sales process with us at the time of the affiliate link click.

b. The customer needs to be an active customer for the locking period in the Affiliate Tool.

c. Affiliate links may rely on cookies to track referrals. Therefore if cookies get cleared, we may not be able to track these events.

d. Cookie window is set to 60 days.

e. Only affiliate links can be used to track referrals. Incorrect use of affiliate links will cause inability to track referrals.

f. Fraudulent or stolen attribution is a non payable event. If we suspect fraud (for example, if we see that signups are all from the same city or IP address) we may require you to prove that the referrals are valid.

There are a number of other limitations that may result in commission not being paid - we encourage you to read the Marketing Affiliate Program Agreement for more information on this.

  1. Upgrades/downgrades. You do not receive additional commission if a customer upgrades to a higher tiered product in the future. If a customer downgrades, you will not the commission associated with that downgrade.

  2. Attribution. In the event a single customer clicks two different affiliate links, the last affiliate gets the credit. We do, however, reserve the right to modify this in certain circumstances.

Promoting Localazy #️⃣

Being an affiliate of any brand involves the responsibility of sharing accurate and reliable information and also complying with the company’s legal guidelines. There are some restricted activities you should be aware of in order to be eligible to take part in the Localazy Affiliate Program:

  1. Localazy Branding Do:

You must follow our Brand and Trademark Usage Guidelines and you are advised to use our Affiliate Campaign Resources as a boilerplate.

Do Not:

Use false or misleading statements on the benefits of using Localazy (e.g. “Get rich quick with Localazy”).

Modify or adjust the Localazy logo in any sort of marketing material you might create, including the creation of any visual badges or dual-logo lockups.

  1. What to call yourself As we have multiple ways to partner with Localazy and several ways to reference those relationships, here are some guidelines around what you can and cannot call yourself within the Localazy Affiliate Program.

Do: Say you’re a “Localazy Affiliate”.

Do Not: Refer to yourself as a Partner or that you’ve “partnered with Localazy.” This includes press releases, references in videos, listings on your website, or in any other marketing material you may be using.

  1. Buying Ads ⛔

  • You will not purchase ads that direct to your site(s) or through an affiliate link that could be considered as competing with Localazy’s own advertising, including, but not limited to, our branded keywords. If running ads, you need to direct the ad to your own website (and not to localazy.com or a standalone landing page).

  • You cannot use and/or mention in any way: (i) the Localazy brand name as a keyword in your PPC campaigns across any search engines, including any misspellings in the brand name; (ii) brand names or trademarks of other companies as a keyword in your PPC campaigns across any search engines, including any misspellings in the brand name or trademark.

  1. Disputable Promotion Techniques ⛔
  • You cannot promote Localazy on any gambling websites, websites with adult/hate/violent/defamatory content, or any other content that is considered offensive or inappropriate;
  • You cannot use and/or mention in any way the Localazy brand name in the domain name of your website, including any misspellings of the brand name;
  • You cannot distribute any misleading or incorrect information
  • You cannot spam or send emails to lists or groups that you do not have permission to send them to.
  • You will not receive commission for self-referrals. You are also not allowed to refer the company you are employed by and receive commission for that.
  • The Localazy product may not be provided or made available, either directly or indirectly to any country in subject to EU trade sanctions.
  • You should not use any marketing practices that may attract clients that are not in good standing.
  • You should not engage in any behaviors that are fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to the company, website or the affiliate program.
  • You may not represent, state, position and/or use any means to create the impression that you are our official reseller and/or exclusive partner.
  • You shall not use the Localazy logo without our prior approval.

Additional Policies #️⃣

Survey Participation: We would encourage you to participate in any affiliate-specific surveys as we request.

Sharing Placements: When requested, you’ll share the places you’ve used your affiliate link. This includes, but is not limited to, links, screenshots, and email sends.

Purchasing Localazy yourself: We don’t require you to purchase Localazy products. Though if you decide to purchase, we require that you do not use your own affiliate link.
