Can I add a manual review step even if my team members have the Trusted Translator role?

Yes. The Trusted Translator role is built to skip review, so their translations get approved automatically the moment they’re submitted.

If you want those submissions checked before they count as the current version, switch the contributor to the standard Translator role instead. Their work then waits for a Reviewer, Manager, or Owner to approve it.

You can switch anyone between roles at any time from the Contributors page.
