To start, get the Internationalization (i18n) plugin by Strapi first, as it is a likely prerequisite for any other 3rd party localization plugin you’ll find.

Once you have considered these factors, you can start to narrow down your options and choose the plugin that best meets your needs.
We recommend trying the Strapi localization plugin by Localazy that seamlessly integrates Strapi ↔️ Localazy and allows you to manage your multilingual content efficiently.

A headless CMS is a backend-only content management system (CMS) built from the ground up as a content repository that makes content accessible via an API for display on any device. This way, Strapi enables content-rich experiences to be created, managed, and exposed to any digital product, channel, or device.
As a developer, you can benefit from Strapi’s multi-database support, use JavaScript for the front and back end, auto-generate documentation with a one-click integration, and manage authentication and permissions granularly.
As a publisher, you will fall in love with its intuitive UI. You will also like the minimalistic editor, powerful media library, and flexible content management with built-in SEO tools.
Strapi also allows you to connect your preferred solutions from third-party providers thanks to its growing marketplace of plugins, including the Strapi localization plugin built by Localazy.
First, you need to create a Localazy account. You can do that here.
Then, install the plugin from the Strapi Marketplace (make sure you are using Strapi 4.0 or above!)
After you connect your Strapi and Localazy projects, set up the content transfer. Before the setup becomes available, you must enable localization for at least one Content-Type - collection or single.
Then, you can choose which fields from each Content-Type you want to transfer.

While Localazy doesn’t currently support rich-text formatting when translating texts, you don’t have to worry about losing the formatting of your Strapi content! Because Strapi’s rich content is stored in a markdown format, you can translate it with Localazy. Just be careful to keep the formatting the same as in the source language

If your source language content item in Strapi is in Draft, the localized item will also stay in Draft. In case the item is Published, the localized item will be Published, but only if all of the fields set for translation are translated. Otherwise, it will stay in Draft.
The Strapi localization plugin by Localazy allows you to sync your content with Localazy and translate it with available tools. You can manage your language versions separately in Localazy and import new content for translation as you add it seamlessly without manual copypasting or file importing.
