Learn how to connect Localazy with your Directus project below.

1. Navigate to the plugin’s Project Setup screen #️⃣

Open the plugin by clicking the translation icon in the left sidebar. If the Directus project isn’t connected to Localazy yet, the Overview screen will tell you that you are not connected.

2. Configure the source language #️⃣

Stay on the Project Setup page and fill in the Directus project configuration section. Before proceeding, make sure you have created a languages collection (you may name it differently) following the official Directus guide on content translations.

  • Languages collection — the name of the languages collection where you define the available languages for your Directus content.
  • Language code field — the field holding the ISO 639 locale of each language (e.g. en for English).
  • Source language — the primary language of your Directus content. It doesn’t have to match your Localazy source language, but we recommend keeping them the same.
